Caregiver (NOC Shift) - Senior Living Community - Maple Grove
About The Position
Suite Living Senior Care is hiring a Caregiver for its Maple Grove assisted living and memory care community. Caregivers provide personalized, person-centered care and support to residents. Applicants may be experienced or newly certified; CNA, HHA, PCA, RA, or NAR backgrounds are welcomed. Paid onboarding consists of four days, Monday through Thursday, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Arden Hills, Minnesota training center, with ongoing support and development from experienced leadership. The position is described as a part-time NOC shift from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., with every-other-weekend availability required. All part-time and full-time shifts require availability every other weekend.
Requirements
- At least 6 months of caregiving experience; assisted living or memory care experience is preferred.
- At least 18 years old.
- Ability to pass medications; training is provided.
- A team player with excellent communication, empathy, and reliability.
- Availability for the NOC shift (10:00 p.m.–6:00 a.m.) and every other weekend, as applicable to this part-time position.
Nice To Haves
- CNA certification is preferred but not required.
- Caregiving experience in assisted living or memory care is preferred.
- CPR/First Aid knowledge is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Support resident mobility and transfers within the facility.
- Assist with medication administration; training is provided.
- Engage residents in meaningful activities and conversation.
- Provide light housekeeping and meal assistance.
- Monitor and report changes in residents’ conditions to the leadership team.
- Respond quickly and calmly in emergency situations.
