About The Position
The Caregiver supports residents in an assisted living and memory care community by providing personal care and helping meet their daily needs. The role includes assisting with activities such as cleaning, bathing, dressing, eating, and hygiene, while communicating with residents, their families, support personnel, healthcare staff, and other department personnel. Caregivers maintain written records and documentation as required and help ensure residents’ needs are continually met. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Be compassionate, patient, and kind, with an interest in working with senior adults.
- Have a positive attitude and a desire to learn and grow.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with cleaning, bathing, dressing, eating, personal care, and hygiene.
- Communicate with healthcare staff and department personnel, share information concerning residents’ conditions, and maintain written records and documentation as required.
- Maintain communication with residents, their families, and support personnel to help ensure residents’ needs are continually met.
