About The Position
Guardian Angel Senior Services is seeking a compassionate and reliable Caregiver to assist a client in Natick. The role provides supervision and hands-on personal care, supports mobility and transfers, prepares meals, reminds clients about medications, provides continence care, and helps maintain a clean and safe home. The company’s mission is to help seniors maintain their dignity by serving clients with caregivers who have a passion for the field and a commitment to their clients.
Requirements
- If the caregiver does not already hold HHA or CNA certification, they must complete company-provided HHA training and obtain certification.
Nice To Haves
- HHA or CNA certification is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide supervision and hands-on assistance with bathing, dressing, and other hygiene tasks.
- Encourage mobility and adherence to prescribed exercise programs, including range-of-motion exercises and walking.
- Assist clients with transfers from bed to chair and reposition them according to their care plans, including pressure-point care.
- Prepare meals that meet clients’ dietary needs.
- Remind clients about their medications.
- Provide continence care.
- Perform housekeeping tasks such as laundry and trash removal.
- Shop for groceries for clients who can drive.
