About The Position

Right at Home of Salt Lake is seeking a caregiver to provide one-on-one care to seniors and adults with disabilities, helping them live safely and comfortably at home. The role involves afternoon shifts on weekdays and/or weekends and supports male and female clients. The posting also refers to morning shifts in its introduction and describes the work as occurring during morning hours. Caregivers provide companionship and assistance with personal hygiene, including peri-care, bathroom or in-bed support, and brief changes. Other duties include light housekeeping, meal preparation, transportation to appointments or outings, and medication reminders.

Requirements

Must be 18 or older.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Eligible to work in the U.S.
Able to pass a background check.
Experience with dementia and behavioral care.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Hoyer lifts and gait belts is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one care to clients.
Offer companionship.
Assist with personal hygiene, including peri-care, bathroom or in-bed support, and brief changes.
Perform light housekeeping.
Prepare meals.
Transport clients to appointments or outings.
Provide medication reminders.

Benefits

Competitive pay of $17.00–$18.25 per hour depending on experience, Dementia Certification, or CNA; minimum $27.50 per shift.
Training/GUIDE Respite Rate of $17.00 per hour.
Raises after 60 days and annual reviews.
Bonus after 60 days for employees working 20 or more hours per week who complete required documents.
Mileage reimbursement between client visits when visits are under one hour apart.
