About The Position

Right at Home of Salt Lake is seeking a compassionate and dependable caregiver to provide one-on-one care to male and female seniors and adults with disabilities, helping them live safely and comfortably at home. The role is described as afternoon shifts on weekdays and/or weekends. Caregivers provide companionship and assist clients with personal care, household tasks, meals, transportation, and medication reminders. The franchise is independently owned and operated, and hiring decisions are made by the franchisee. Pay is $17.00–$18.25 per hour depending on experience, Dementia Certification, or CNA, with a stated minimum of $27.50 per shift. A Training/GUIDE Respite Rate of $17.00 per hour is also listed.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
Must be able to pass a background check.
Experience with dementia and behavioral care.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Hoyer lifts and gait belts is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one care to clients.
Offer companionship.
Assist with personal hygiene, including peri-care, bathroom or in-bed support, and brief changes.
Perform light housekeeping.
Prepare meals.
Transport clients to appointments or outings.
Provide medication reminders.
