About The Position

Caring Senior Service of San Antonio is hiring compassionate, dedicated, and dependable caregivers to provide non-medical, one-on-one home care to seniors in North San Antonio and nearby neighborhoods. The role helps seniors remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes while supporting their dignity and quality of life. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available, with flexible day, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts, as well as short and longer shifts. Starting pay is $12.00 per hour; compensation details and the applicable pay range will be confirmed before posting.

Requirements

Be compassionate, trustworthy, patient, and dependable.
Be willing and able to accept assignments throughout North San Antonio and nearby neighborhoods.
Have reliable transportation to travel to client homes.
Successfully complete all required background checks.
Have a genuine desire to help seniors remain safe, comfortable, and independent at home.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in caregiving, senior care, home care, or as a personal care aide is preferred.
CNA experience is a plus; certification is not required for every client assignment.

Responsibilities

Offer companionship, conversation, and emotional support.
Assist seniors with personal care and daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Prepare nutritious meals and assist with everyday meal routines.
Perform light housekeeping to maintain a clean and comfortable home.
Provide timely medication reminders.
Assist with transportation to medical appointments, shopping, and errands.
Support mobility, walking, positioning, and safe transfers.
Provide patient, compassionate assistance to clients living with dementia or Alzheimer's.
Help seniors follow daily routines and maintain a safe, comfortable home environment.
