About The Position

TheKey is hiring caregivers to provide one-to-one, in-home support to aging adults in Salinas, California, with travel to Carmel, Pacific Grove, Pebble Beach, and Monterey required. The position is available full-time or part-time, with hiring for all shifts and pay of $20–$22 per hour. Caregivers help clients with personal care, light housekeeping, transportation, and companionship. Requirements

At least one year of professional caregiving experience.
At least 18 years of age.
HCA registration with the State of California, including meeting state background requirements; TheKey can help obtain registration upon hire.
Valid driver's license and access to a fully insured personal vehicle.
TB clearance or chest X-ray.
Must comply with state background-screening requirements and be eligible to work in the United States.
Must complete timely and accurate positive fingerprint identification as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

Assist clients one-to-one with dressing, bathing, grooming, and meals.
Perform light housekeeping, including basic cleaning, laundry, and organizing.
Drive clients to appointments, run errands, and shop for groceries.
Provide companionship and social and emotional support through games, puzzles, and other activities.
