About The Position

TheKey is hiring caregivers to provide one-to-one in-home assistance to aging adults in Salinas and nearby Carmel, Pacific Grove, Pebble Beach, and Monterey. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available, with hiring for all shifts. The advertised pay rate is $20–$22 per hour. Caregivers provide personal care, light housekeeping, transportation, and companionship while helping clients maintain their quality of life. TheKey provides caregiver support, paid training, and career development opportunities. Applicants must meet California background-screening requirements and be eligible to work in the United States.

Requirements

At least one year of professional caregiving experience.
At least 18 years of age.
California HCA registration, including meeting state background requirements; TheKey can help obtain registration upon hire.
Valid driver's license and access to a fully insured personal vehicle.
TB clearance or chest X-ray.
Must comply with state background-screening requirements and be eligible to work in the United States.
Applicants must complete timely and accurate positive fingerprint identification as a condition of employment; a conditional offer will be rescinded for a non-exemptible crime, in compliance with applicable laws.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with dressing, bathing, grooming, and meals.
