Idaho Falls Area Caregiver 250 Sign On Bonus
About The Position
Home Helpers Home Care is seeking a caring, compassionate Caregiver to provide services to a client in the local area. Caregivers help patients remain independent and safe in their own homes. Prior experience is not required; the company provides paid, in-office initial training and ongoing training. Compensation is based on certifications and experience, with flexible scheduling and shift differentials of $1 to $4 per hour on select shifts. Daily Pay is available, allowing employees to receive payment the day after working. Eligible employees can receive a $250 sign-on bonus in two $125 installments, subject to working at least 20 hours per week during each applicable pay period. The local agency is independently owned and operated, and its franchisee makes hiring decisions.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Valid driver's license.
- Reliable transportation.
- Must pass a background check as required by state regulations.

Responsibilities
- Maintain the confidentiality of patient information.
- Assist with meal preparation, serving meals, cleaning meal preparation areas, and helping patients eat as needed.
- Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, denture care, and skin care.
- Perform light housekeeping, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, taking out trash, cleaning the refrigerator, and washing and putting away dishes.
- Wash, dry, fold, and put away laundry, including using a laundromat when needed.
- Assist with errands such as grocery shopping, picking up medical supplies or prescriptions, and going to the post office.
- Assist with activities of daily living, shopping, transportation, and telehealth visits.
- Provide companionship.
- Be reliable, dependable, and punctual, with rare absences.
