About The Position

Home Helpers Home Care is hiring Personal Care Aides and Certified Nursing Assistants to help patients remain safe and independent in their own homes. Prior experience is not required. The company provides paid in-office training, competitive pay based on certifications and experience, flexible scheduling, daily pay, and additional hourly differentials of $1 to $4 on select shifts. Eligible employees may receive a $250 sign-on bonus in two $125 installments, subject to working at least 20 hours per week during each applicable pay period.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license.
• Reliable transportation.
• Pass a background check in accordance with state requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the confidentiality of all patient information.
• Assist with meal preparation, serving meals, cleaning preparation areas, and helping patients eat as needed.
• Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, denture care, and skin care.
• Perform housekeeping tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, taking out trash, dusting, cleaning the refrigerator, and washing and putting away dishes.
• Complete laundry, including washing, drying, folding, and putting away clothes; use a laundromat when needed.
• Run errands such as grocery shopping, picking up medical supplies, and going to the post office.
• Be reliable, dependable, punctual, and rarely absent from work.
