Caregiver- Senior Living Community - Maple Grove
About The Position
Suite Living Senior Care is seeking caring, dedicated, and compassionate caregivers for its Maple Grove assisted living and memory care community. Caregivers work directly with residents to provide personalized support and help make each day brighter. Applicants may be experienced or newly certified; CNA, HHA, PCA, RA, or NAR backgrounds are welcome. Paid onboarding training is provided, along with ongoing support and development from experienced leadership and a team member development program with wage increases. Available shifts are AM (6:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.), PM (2:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m.), and NOC (10:00 p.m.–6:00 a.m.). Part-time and full-time team members must be available to work every other weekend.
Requirements
- At least 6 months of caregiving experience.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be available to work every other weekend for part-time or full-time shifts.
- Team-oriented, with excellent communication, empathy, and reliability.
Nice To Haves
- Caregiving experience in assisted living or memory care.
- CNA certification; it is preferred but not required.
- CPR/First Aid knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Support residents with mobility and transfers within the facility.
- Assist with medication administration; training is provided.
- Engage residents in meaningful activities and conversation.
- Provide light housekeeping and meal assistance.
- Monitor and report changes in residents’ conditions to the leadership team.
- Respond quickly and calmly in emergency situations.
