Caregiver - Senior Living Community - Burnsville
About The Position
Suite Living Senior Care is hiring Caregivers for its Burnsville assisted living and memory care community. Caregivers work directly with residents to provide personalized, person-centered care and support. The role is open to experienced or newly certified candidates, including CNA, HHA, PCA, RA, or NAR caregivers. Paid onboarding training is provided, along with ongoing support and development from experienced leadership and a team member development program with wage increases. Part-time availability is listed for the AM shift (6:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.) and PM shift (2:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m.). All part-time and full-time shifts require availability to work every other weekend.
Requirements
- At least 6 months of caregiving experience.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to pass medications.
- Team player with excellent communication, empathy, and reliability.
- Availability to work every other weekend for all shifts, both part-time and full-time.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in assisted living or memory care is preferred.
- CNA certification is preferred but not required.
- CPR/First Aid knowledge is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Support resident mobility and transfers within the facility.
- Assist with medication administration; training is provided.
- Engage residents in meaningful activities and conversation.
- Provide light housekeeping and meal assistance.
- Monitor and report changes in residents’ conditions to the leadership team.
- Respond quickly and calmly in emergency situations.
