About The Position

Suite Living Senior Care of Burnsville is a 32-unit Assisted Living and Memory Care facility seeking a professional and compassionate Housekeeper. The role is full-time, approximately 30 hours per week, with a Monday–Friday shift from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The ideal candidate has previous experience as a Housekeeper or Caregiver in a senior living community.

Requirements

• Minimum of a high school diploma.
• Must have excellent knowledge of housekeeping duties and expectations.
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards.
• Must be respectful and compassionate toward the geriatric population.
• Must have excellent time-management, communication, and interpersonal skills when working with residents, staff members, and families.
• Must have the physical aptitude to perform the functions of the job.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience as a Housekeeper strongly preferred.
• Experience in a senior living community strongly preferred.
• Previous experience as a Caregiver strongly preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, vacuum, dust, wash, scour, and sanitize assigned areas, moving furniture and equipment as necessary.
• Store harmful chemicals safely according to OSHA standards and follow building policies for cleaning procedures.
• Use proper body mechanics while cleaning and moving furniture.
• Use housekeeping supplies as needed and properly care for housekeeping equipment.
• Assist with various Caregiver duties as needed.
