About The Position

The Housekeeper maintains cleanliness standards in resident apartments and community common areas, helping create a home-like environment for residents. The role includes caring for and maintaining equipment and tools used in daily work and complying with federal, state, and local standards for facility operation. The Housekeeper is expected to incorporate Generation’s Mission, Vision, and Values into daily work and interactions. This is a full-time position with schedules available Sunday through Thursday or Wednesday through Saturday, from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The posting also describes the shifts as 8 hours. Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
CPR and First Aid certification; training is available upon hire.
Ability to read, write, communicate, and follow written and oral instructions in English.

Nice To Haves

Housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Clean and service residents’ apartments, common areas, guest rooms, and offices.
Change linens in apartments as scheduled.
Perform laundry duties as needed.
Spot clean carpets as needed.
Service vacant apartments and support efficient apartment turnover.
Review the facility’s physical environment regularly and direct requests for repair or replacement.
Assist personnel and residents in establishing a home-like atmosphere.
Care for and maintain equipment and tools used in daily work.
Comply with federal, state, and local standards for facility operation.
Incorporate Generation’s Mission, Vision, and Values into daily work and interactions.
Perform other duties as assigned.
