About The Position
Griswold Care in Saint Louis Park is hiring a part-time female caregiver to provide companionship and caregiving services to older adults. Requirements
- Reliable transportation.
- Current driver’s license and auto insurance.
- Ability to pass a thorough criminal and background record check.
- Empathy for vulnerable older adults and respect for their independence.
- Ability to communicate client needs and requests and communicate with the agency office by telephone or text.
- Ability to read care plans.
- Ability to prepare simple meals and clean the home environment appropriately.
- Punctuality and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and frequently alternate between stationary and traversing positions for extended periods.
- Comfort driving or transporting clients.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Two or more years of home care experience is a plus; caring for a loved one counts.
- Willingness to learn; training is provided.
Responsibilities
