About The Position

ComForCare of Midlands is seeking experienced caregivers to support seniors and adults with disabilities living independently in their homes across Elgin, Northeast Columbia, Lexington, and West Columbia. Caregivers help clients with daily living needs and provide companionship and quality care. The role includes shifts lasting 10–12 hours, with every other weekend included, and requires availability between 7 a.m. and 10 p.m. Sunday through Saturday. The position requires dependable, compassionate caregivers who can work with limited supervision, follow instructions, and provide personal care, household assistance, meal support, transportation, and medication reminders. The company provides COVID-19 training and personal protective equipment.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of caregiving experience.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must pass a criminal background check.
• Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and proof of insurance.
• Ability to work with limited supervision.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, energetic, self-motivated, and well-organized.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care.
