About The Position

TheKey is hiring caregivers in Westlake Village, Woodland Hills, and Thousand Oaks to provide care and support to clients. The role offers short shifts, with weekend availability highly preferred. Thousand Oaks shifts are flexible and may be scheduled in the mornings, during the day, or in the evenings. Duties described for the available assignments include companionship, meal preparation, transportation to outings, standby assistance, and hands-on mobility support as needed. The posting also describes special-needs caregiving tasks, including overnight supervision, comfort and routine support, personal care, redirection, sensory-friendly engagement, documenting activities, and communicating changes or concerns.

Caregivers are expected to promote client independence and inclusion and to provide compassionate, respectful care. Requirements

• At least 1 year of professional caregiving experience.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
• California Home Care Aide (HCA) registration, including meeting state background requirements; TheKey can help obtain registration upon hire.
• Valid driver's license and access to a fully insured personal vehicle.
• TB clearance or chest X-ray.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Maintain a calm, patient presence.
• Comply with applicable state background screening requirements and California fingerprint-identification requirements.

Nice To Haves

• Saturday or Sunday availability is highly preferred.
• Experience in caregiving, behavioral therapy, or working with individuals with autism.
• Reliable transportation and a current driver's license.
