About The Position

TheKey is hiring caregivers in Westlake Village, Woodland Hills, and Thousand Oaks to provide care and support to clients. Shifts are available Monday through Sunday, with Saturday or Sunday availability highly preferred. Westlake Village shifts are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM and involve companionship, meal preparation, and transportation to outings. Woodland Hills shifts are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 12:30 PM to 4:30 PM and involve standby assistance and hands-on mobility support as needed. Flexible short shifts across mornings, days, and evenings are available in Thousand Oaks. The posting also describes responsibilities for a Special Needs Caregiver, including overnight supervision, comfort and routine support; personal care, redirection and sensory-friendly engagement; documenting nightly activities and communicating changes or concerns; and promoting independence and inclusion in the home. Caregivers are expected to provide compassionate, respectful support and help promote clients’ quality of life. TheKey offers flexible schedules, pay starting at $20–$23 per hour, weekly pay with optional daily pay, referral rewards, mileage reimbursement, benefits, paid training, caregiver support, and career development opportunities. Caregivers must meet applicable state screening and eligibility requirements, including California fingerprint identification for applicants in accordance with state law.

Requirements

At least 1 year of professional caregiving experience.
At least 18 years of age.
Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
HCA Registration with the State of California; the employer can help obtain this upon hire, subject to state background requirements.
Valid driver's license and access to a fully insured personal vehicle.
TB clearance or chest X-ray.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and maintain a calm, patient presence.
Compliance with applicable state background screening requirements.
Applicants in California must meet timely and accurate positive fingerprint identification requirements; a conditional offer will be rescinded for a non-exemptible conviction, in compliance with applicable laws.

Nice To Haves

Saturday or Sunday availability is highly preferred.
Experience in caregiving, behavioral therapy, or working with individuals with autism.
