About The Position

Griswold Care in Saint Paul is hiring a part-time Caregiver to provide non-medical elderly care and companionship, helping seniors live as fully and independently as possible in their homes. The role offers flexible hours and opportunities to assist clients on day or night shifts. Client care needs range from as little as four hours to 24-hour care, and hours may change based on client needs, care plan adjustments, and staffing requirements. Caregivers assist with homemaking and daily living activities, including laundry, grocery shopping, meal preparation, personal hygiene, bathing, and feeding. They may also provide companionship to clients with dementia or cognitive impairments. The position requires maintaining client dignity, completing shift documentation, submitting timely updates, and communicating with the office about clients’ conditions and needs. Training is provided.

Requirements

Reliable transportation.
Current driver's license and auto insurance.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Two or more years of home care experience is a plus; caring for a loved one counts.

Responsibilities
