About The Position

Visiting Angels is hiring compassionate, dependable caregivers to help seniors remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes in the Morgantown area. Caregivers support clients with daily activities and provide companionship, comfort, and peace of mind to clients and their families. The company provides training, support, and resources for both experienced caregivers and people new to caregiving. Schedules are flexible, with 4-hour, 8-hour, and 12-hour shifts available. Caregivers receive hands-on training, shadow shifts, and a six-week mentor program if they are new to the role, along with ongoing education and career development opportunities. Supportive office staff are available 24/7.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old.
Pass background checks and drug screening.
Be compassionate, reliable, and trustworthy.
Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Have a valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
Be able to lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting or incontinence care.
Assist clients with mobility and transfers.
Provide medication reminders.
Transport clients to appointments and run errands with them.
Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping.
Provide companionship and emotional support.
