About The Position

Visiting Angels is hiring compassionate, dependable caregivers to help seniors remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes in the Morgantown area. Caregivers support clients with daily activities and provide companionship and peace of mind to clients and their families. Both experienced caregivers and people new to caregiving are encouraged to apply; training, support, and resources are provided. Flexible schedules are available, with 4-hour, 8-hour, and 12-hour shifts.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must pass background checks and drug screening.
Must have a valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
Should be compassionate, reliable, and trustworthy.
Should have strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting or incontinence care.
Provide mobility assistance and help clients with transfers.
Give medication reminders.
Transport clients to appointments and errands.
Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping.
Provide companionship and emotional support.
