About The Position

Visiting Angels is hiring caregivers to help seniors remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes. Caregivers provide assistance with daily activities, companionship, and emotional support. The organization provides training, support, and resources for both experienced caregivers and people beginning their caregiving careers. Available shifts are 4, 8, and 12 hours, and caregivers can choose a schedule that works for them.

Requirements

Be compassionate, reliable, and trustworthy.
Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Have a valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
Be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
Be at least 18 years old.
Be able to pass background checks and drug screening.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting or incontinence care.
Help clients with mobility and transfers.
Provide medication reminders.
Transport clients to appointments and errands.
Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping.
Provide companionship and emotional support.
