About The Position
BrightStar Care of The Monterey Peninsula is hiring Caregivers to provide compassionate one-to-one care in clients’ homes across Monterey, Salinas, Marina, Pebble Beach, Carmel, Pacific Grove, and surrounding areas. The role supports seniors and adults in maintaining comfort, dignity, and independence. Flexible shifts are available, including days, evenings, overnights, and weekends. The stated pay is $21–$24 per hour, plus a $2-per-hour weekend bonus. The company offers paid caregiver training, free continuing education units (CEUs), support from a responsive local office team, employee recognition, and paid sick leave. Requirements
- Valid driver's license.
- Reliable, insured vehicle.
- Current CPR certification.
- Clear TB test or chest X-ray.
- Registered Home Care Aide (HCA) Caregiver, or willingness to register.
Nice To Haves
- At least one year of in-home caregiver experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate one-to-one care in clients’ homes.
- Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and safe mobility.
- Prepare simple, nutritious meals and help with light housekeeping.
- Offer companionship and engaging conversation.
- Run local errands and provide reliable transportation.
- Keep clear, timely care notes while following HIPAA guidelines.
