About The Position

Harder Mechanical Contractors is hiring a full-time, hourly Custodian to maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of its regional Phoenix, Arizona office and parking lot. The role requires attention to detail, time management, and a high level of customer service, and supports the office management team in keeping operations running smoothly. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 5:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The position pays $21 or more per hour.

Custodians handle daily cleaning and maintenance of indoor and outdoor areas, including common areas, restrooms, conference rooms, windows, glass, and parking areas. They also maintain kitchen supplies and amenities, safely use cleaning supplies and equipment, and drive to and from a laundromat to drop off and pick up towels and other items as needed. Other tasks may be assigned.

Requirements

• Demonstrated ability to work as a self-starter.
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
• Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Reliable transportation to and from the office.
• At least 1–3 years of custodian experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily maintenance and cleanup of the building exterior and parking areas.
• Regularly clean interior common areas, restrooms, conference rooms, and other spaces.
• Clean interior windows and glass as needed.
• Maintain kitchen supplies and amenities, including frequent stocking.
• Safely use cleaning supplies and equipment, which may include chemicals and light machinery.
• Drive to and from the laundromat to drop off and pick up towels and other items as needed.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.
