About The Position

Senior Helpers is hiring an on-call weekday caregiver for a Monday–Friday, 7 a.m.–3 p.m. schedule. The role is primarily office-based, handling filing and paperwork, with floating caregiver duties when there is a call-out. The position guarantees 40 hours each week and reimburses mileage. Caregivers support clients in aging comfortably at home by providing assistance with daily activities, companionship, meal preparation, and non-medical care.

Requirements

• Ability to organize and prioritize assigned tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with diet monitoring, walking, personal hygiene, and other activities of daily living.
• Provide companionship through conversation, hobbies, meal preparation, and related activities.
• Assist with non-medical care needs, including challenges associated with normal aging and hospital recovery.
• Follow client care plans and provide updates as needed.
• Handle filing and paperwork in the office.
• Work as a floating caregiver when there is a call-out.
