About The Position
TheKey is hiring caregivers to provide one-to-one, in-home support for aging adults in San Martin, California. Caregivers assist clients with personal care, light housekeeping, transportation, and companionship. The position offers full-time or part-time schedules; the listed schedule is Wednesdays from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Sundays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The posting also says caregivers are currently being hired for all shifts. Requirements
- At least one year of professional caregiving experience.
- At least 18 years of age.
- California Home Care Aide (HCA) registration; TheKey can help obtain registration after hire.
- Meet state background-screening requirements, including timely and accurate positive fingerprint identification, and be eligible to work in the United States.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a fully insured personal vehicle.
- TB clearance or chest X-ray.

Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one assistance to clients in their homes.
- Assist with personal care, including dressing, bathing, grooming, and meals.
- Perform light housekeeping, including basic cleaning, laundry, and organizing.
- Drive clients to appointments and assist with errands and grocery shopping.
- Provide companionship and social and emotional support through activities such as games and puzzles.
