About The Position

TheKey is hiring full-time or part-time caregivers to provide one-to-one in-home care for aging adults throughout Santa Clara County. Caregivers support clients with personal care, light housekeeping, transportation, and companionship. The role is available across all shifts and requires travel within the county. TheKey describes its local teams as providing support to caregivers and emphasizes a respectful, high-quality experience for clients.

Requirements

At least 1 year of professional caregiving experience.
At least 18 years of age.
HCA registration with the State of California, including meeting state background requirements; the employer can help the applicant obtain registration after hire.
Valid driver’s license and access to a fully insured personal vehicle.
TB clearance or chest X-ray.
Must comply with state background screening requirements and be eligible to work in the United States.
Applicants must undergo timely and accurate positive fingerprint identification as a condition of employment; a conditional offer will be rescinded for a non-exemptible crime, in accordance with applicable laws.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with dressing, bathing, grooming, and meals.
Perform light housekeeping, including basic cleaning, laundry, and organizing.
Drive clients to appointments, run errands, and shop for groceries.
Provide companionship and social and emotional support through activities such as games and puzzles.
