Part Time In-Home Caregiver – San Jose, CA
About The Position
A welcoming family in San Jose, California, is seeking a compassionate, kind, friendly, and patient caregiver to provide companionship and light assistance for their mother. The ideal candidate enjoys conversation, listens attentively, and brings a calm, relaxed presence. The home is smoke-free. The schedule is Tuesdays and Fridays from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., with the potential for additional hours as the relationship develops. Compensation is $35–$40 per hour, commensurate with experience. Mileage is reimbursed when the caregiver uses their own vehicle for errands. This is a private, family-hired position. Caregivers are hired directly by the family and are not employed by Wellthy. Candidates are subject to a background check and must provide proof of legal authorization to work in the United States. Requirements
- Must speak English and communicate clearly in English.
- Must have a calm, patient, and relaxed personality.

- Must undergo a background check.
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and build a friendly, trusting relationship with the family’s mother.
- Accompany her on walks.
- Assist with basic household tasks and light housekeeping.
- Help with grocery shopping and errands.
