Caregiver Needed - Weekends Only - San Jose, CA
About The Position
TheKey is hiring caregivers to provide one-to-one in-home support to aging adults in Santa Clara County, California. This role is for weekends only, and caregivers must be able to travel within the county. The posting lists pay of $22.00–$25.00 per hour and says the company is currently hiring for all shifts. Bilingual candidates and drivers are a plus. Caregivers assist clients with personal care, light housekeeping, transportation, and companionship. Requirements
- At least 1 year of professional caregiving experience.
- At least 18 years of age.
- California HCA registration, including meeting state background requirements; TheKey can help obtain registration upon hire.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a fully insured personal vehicle.
- TB clearance or a chest X-ray.
- Must be able to travel within Santa Clara County.
- Must comply with state background screening requirements and be eligible to work in the United States.
- California applicants must complete timely and accurate positive fingerprint identification as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities
- Assist clients with dressing, bathing, grooming, and meals.
- Perform light housekeeping, including basic cleaning, laundry, and organizing.
- Drive clients to appointments, run errands, and shop for groceries.
- Provide companionship and social and emotional support through activities such as games and puzzles.
