About The Position

Aloma Healthcare, Inc. is hiring an experienced caregiver for a client in Cleveland, Texas. The caregiver will provide compassionate, one-on-one assistance to a senior, including personal care and hygiene, mobility support, meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, and companionship. The role may also involve accompanying the client to appointments, walks, or grocery shopping. Applicants must be vaccinated as required by the client. The position pays $11–$16 per hour, based on experience.

Requirements

At least one year of prior experience in healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care.
High school diploma or equivalent, or experience as a caregiver.
Must be vaccinated as required by the client.
Valid driver’s license and reliable daily transportation.
Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations.
Ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner.
Willingness to enforce health and safety standards.
Pleasant, customer-friendly, self-starting, organized, and able to manage tasks efficiently independently.
Enjoys working one-on-one with clients and is eager to improve and learn new skills.
Takes pride in providing high-quality care.

Nice To Haves

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with personal hygiene and basic needs, including showering, bathing, dressing, and eating.
Help clients move around the home and accompany them outside the home for appointments, walks, or grocery shopping.
Provide personal care and hygiene assistance.
Plan and prepare meals, and assist clients with meals, including serving.
Perform housekeeping duties, including laundry and light house cleaning.
Provide companionship and support activities essential to daily living.
Report unusual incidents and respond quickly and responsibly to emergencies.
