About The Position

Aloma Healthcare, Inc. is hiring an experienced caregiver for a client in Cleveland, Texas. The caregiver will provide compassionate, one-on-one support to a senior or person with care needs, including assistance with personal care, household tasks, meals, mobility, and companionship. The role calls for a dedicated caregiver who takes pride in providing high-quality care and can work independently while following health and safety standards. The position pays $11–$16 per hour based on experience.

Requirements

At least one year of prior experience in healthcare, hospitality, or an in-home care environment.
High school diploma or equivalent, or experience as a caregiver.
Valid driver’s license and reliable daily transportation.
Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations.
Ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner.
Willingness to enforce health and safety standards.
Able to work independently, manage tasks efficiently, and maintain an organized, customer-friendly approach.

Nice To Haves

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) preferred.
Enjoys providing exceptional client service and learning new skills.

Responsibilities

Provide personal hygiene assistance, including help with showering, bathing, dressing, and eating.
Help the client with mobility at home and outside, including attending appointments, walking, and grocery shopping.
Assist with personal care and hygiene, including incontinence care.
Plan and prepare meals, and serve meals as needed.
Perform housekeeping duties, including laundry and light cleaning.
Provide companion care and offer activities that support daily living.
Report unusual incidents and respond quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
