About The Position

Aloma Healthcare, Inc. is hiring an experienced caregiver for a client in Willis, Texas. The caregiver will support an older adult with personal care and daily living needs, including bathing, dressing, eating, mobility, meal planning and preparation, and household tasks such as light cleaning and laundry. The role also involves companionship, helping the client with activities outside the home, and responding responsibly to unusual incidents or emergencies. Applicants should be compassionate, dependable, and comfortable working one-on-one.

Requirements

At least one year of prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation every day.
Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations.
Ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner.
Willingness to enforce health and safety standards.
Enjoy working one-on-one, be eager to improve and learn new skills, and take pride in providing high-quality care.
Be pleasant and customer-friendly, self-starting, organized, and able to manage tasks independently.
High school diploma or equivalent, or experience as a caregiver.

Nice To Haves

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) qualification preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide personal hygiene assistance, including showering, bathing, dressing, and eating.
Help the client with mobility around the home and outside, including doctor’s appointments, walks, and grocery shopping.
Assist with personal care and hygiene.
Plan and prepare meals and assist with serving meals.
Perform housekeeping duties.
Report unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
Assist with activities essential to daily living.
