About The Position

Aloma Healthcare, Inc. has an immediate opening for an experienced caregiver serving a client in Willis, Texas. The caregiver will provide compassionate, one-on-one support to a senior or another person who may have a disability, injury, mobility difficulty, or illness. Duties include personal care, household assistance, meal preparation, mobility support, and companionship. The position requires at least one year of relevant experience and a commitment to high-quality care.

Requirements

At least one year of prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation every day.
Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations.
Ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner.
Willingness to enforce health and safety standards.
Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting and be eager to improve and learn new skills.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent, or experience as a caregiver.
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist with personal hygiene, including showering, bathing, dressing, and eating.
Help the client with mobility at home and outside the home, including attending appointments, walking, and grocery shopping.
Provide personal care and hygiene assistance.
Plan and prepare meals; assist with and serve meals.
Perform housekeeping duties, including laundry and light house cleaning.
Provide incontinence care and bathing assistance.
Report unusual incidents and respond quickly and responsibly to emergencies.
Offer activities and assistance that support daily living.
Provide companion care.
