About The Position

Qualicare Home Care Services is seeking an experienced, dependable, and compassionate Caregiver or Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) to provide hands-on personal care and mobility assistance to a client in their home. The role includes assisting with bed-to-wheelchair transfers, personal hygiene and incontinence care, dressing, grooming, and daily activities while protecting the client's safety, comfort, and dignity. The caregiver will follow the client's individualized care plan and provide companionship and emotional support. The position offers part-time, consistent four-hour shifts from 10:30 AM to 2:30 PM, with a pay rate of $21 per hour. A sign-on bonus is available after three months of employment. Additional shifts may be available, and the employer offers caregiver training and support from its care team.

Requirements

• Experience assisting clients with bed-to-wheelchair transfers is required.
• Comfort providing hands-on personal care, sponge baths, and changing adult briefs.
• Previous experience assisting clients with limited mobility.
• Ability to safely provide one-person transfer assistance consistent with the client's care plan.
• Compassionate, patient, reliable, and professional.
• Must complete required background and health screenings.

Nice To Haves

• New Jersey Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with transfers from wheelchair to bed and bed to wheelchair.
