About The Position
Comforcare is hiring experienced Certified Home Health Aides and Certified Nursing Assistants, as well as entry-level caregivers who are passionate about providing extraordinary care throughout Morris, Passaic, and Bergen counties. The agency helps train and assist entry-level caregivers with certification and provides support and training to its caregivers. Caregivers help maintain and improve clients’ quality of life through attentive, engaging care. Immediate openings are available for hourly and live-in caregivers. Pay starts at $18–$19 per hour, and schedules are flexible based on caregiver preferences.
Requirements
- Valid Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) credential with the New Jersey Board of Nursing.
- Valid driver’s license and transportation.
- Recent two-step PPD or chest X-ray and MMR titers.
- Criminal background check required.
Nice To Haves
- Experience as a Certified Home Health Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant; entry-level caregivers are also considered and can receive training and assistance with certification.
Responsibilities
- Engage clients in activities they enjoy.
- Provide personal hygiene assistance.
- Assist with medication.
- Plan and prepare meals.
- Perform light house cleaning and laundry.
- Monitor changes in clients’ physical and mental well-being.
