About The Position

Benchmark at Rye is seeking an experienced caregiver to provide care to residents in a warm, comfortable, home-like environment. This is a part-time day position, 6 a.m.–2 p.m., paying $20–$23 per hour.

Caregivers assist residents with daily living, document care, report changes in health or behavior, engage residents in meaningful activities, and provide emotional support and exceptional customer service. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

• A valid CNA, HHA, or LNA license is preferred; training is available.
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred but not required.
• Previous experience working with people with dementia is desired.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Document care provided and report changes in residents’ health or behavior to appropriate staff.
• Engage residents in meaningful activities and provide emotional support.
• Use customer service skills to ensure residents receive exceptional and meaningful care.
• Perform other duties as needed.
