About The Position

Independence Home Health LLC is hiring compassionate, dependable, and caring caregivers to support clients in Sweetwater, Edinburgh, Columbus, Indiana, and surrounding areas. The position offers flexible scheduling, with morning, afternoon, and evening shifts potentially available, as well as weekday and weekend opportunities. Caregivers may have consistent client assignments when available or pick up additional and fill-in shifts. Schedules and hours depend on client needs and available assignments, and part-time and varying-hour opportunities are available.

The role focuses on helping clients remain independent in their homes while respecting their freedom and involvement in healthcare decisions. Caregivers follow care plans and instructions, communicate client needs to the office, and provide personal care, companionship, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and medication reminders as directed. Training may be available, with ongoing support from office staff and management.

Requirements

• Be compassionate, dependable, and responsible.
• Have reliable transportation.
• Have good communication and time-management skills.
• Be able to follow care plans and instructions.

Nice To Haves

• Previous caregiving experience is preferred.
• CNA, HHA, or PCA experience is welcome.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living and personal care.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
