About The Position

One You Love Homecare of North, South, and West Houston is seeking compassionate caregivers to help older adults remain safe and independent at home. Caregivers provide non-medical assistance in clients’ homes, including companionship, personal care support, help with daily living activities, and light housekeeping. Requirements

• Prior experience in caregiving, home care, or a related field is a plus.
• State certification and license in good standing, if applicable.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license; proof of insurance if required for client transport.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to assist clients with mobility and physical transfers.
• Ability to stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior experience in caregiving, home care, or a related field is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with daily living activities, including personal care and mobility.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding.
• Maintain client safety and report changes in condition.
• Observe infection control practices and follow care plan protocols.
• Provide transportation to appointments and activities.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
• Remind clients to take medication.
• Clock in and out and document all tasks.
