About The Position

Allied Universal® Event Services is hiring part-time Event Security staff for game days and special events in Lafayette, Indiana. Team members help prepare for and carry out event-day operations at venues and provide guests with a welcoming, helpful experience. The role offers flexible scheduling under 30 hours per week, pays $15 per hour weekly, and does not require prior experience. Candidates from surrounding cities are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must successfully complete a background investigation and a post-offer/pre-employment drug and alcohol test; may also be required to pass a Driver’s Record check.
• Must be professional, articulate, and able to exercise sound independent judgment and discretion.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all aspects of event-day preparation and execution.
• Manage appropriate venue entry, which may include collecting or scanning tickets, verifying wristbands and badges, and directing traffic entering and leaving the venue.
• Understand and follow the policies, procedures, and regulations of different venues, facilities, and events.
• Greet guests in a friendly and personal manner at entrances, aisles, concourses, or other locations, and thank them at the end of each interaction.
• Provide guests with helpful directions and suggestions to enhance their event experience.
• Communicate with guests using a natural speaking voice, friendly tone, and welcoming demeanor.
