About The Position

Allied Universal Event Services is hiring event staff for seasonal work during football season on its Game Day Event Team in Lexington, Kentucky. The role supports event-day preparation and execution at venues, helping provide safe and enjoyable experiences for guests. Work takes place in an exciting event environment, and schedules are flexible. Candidates from surrounding cities are welcome. No prior experience is needed.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must successfully complete a background investigation and a post-offer/pre-employment drug and alcohol test; may also be required to pass a driver's record check.
• Must be professional, articulate, and able to exercise good independent judgment and discretion.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all aspects of event-day preparation and execution.
• Manage appropriate venue entry, including collecting or scanning tickets, verifying wristbands and badges, and directing traffic entering and leaving the venue.
• Understand and follow the policies, procedures, and regulations of different venues, facilities, and events.
• Greet guests in a friendly and personal manner at entrances, aisles, concourses, or other assigned locations, and thank them after each interaction.
• Provide guests with helpful directions and suggestions to enhance their entertainment experience.
• Communicate with guests using a friendly tone and natural speaking voice.
