About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Response Security Officer for multi-site coverage in the Metro Atlanta region. The work varies by site and assignment and may include customer service, patrols, surveillance, access control, and responding to special events or changing security needs. Open availability to work any day and all shifts is required. The schedule varies between 24 and 40 hours per week. The officer helps protect people and property, supports facility access procedures, monitors security systems, conducts patrols, responds to incidents, and prepares reports. Requirements

Must be at least 21 years old.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Open availability and flexibility to work all shifts, including days, nights, weekends, holidays, overtime, and on-call assignments as operational needs require.
At least 3 years of experience in multiple security functions and environments, such as access control, patrol operations, CCTV monitoring, customer-facing security, warehouse security, or truck gate operations.
Authorized to work in the United States.
Able to provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
Must pass an extensive screening process.
Ability to think quickly and adapt to changing situations.
Responsive, with strong problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

College degree.
Security, military, or law enforcement experience.
State license if required.

Responsibilities

Manage employee, contractor, and visitor badging activities in accordance with access control policies and security procedures.
Operate and monitor access control, CCTV, alarm, and visitor management systems.
Monitor and control facility access points, including truck gates, loading docks, and restricted areas.
Verify credentials, shipments, deliveries, and visitor authorizations before granting access.
Conduct interior patrols of warehouse, distribution, and office areas to identify and address security concerns.
Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats.
Provide excellent customer service while maintaining security.
Write detailed reports on events and incidents.
Collaborate with authorities during serious situations.
Help ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.
