About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Response Security Officer to provide security coverage across multiple sites in the Metro Atlanta region. Duties vary by site and event and may include customer service, patrols, surveillance, and access control. The role requires adaptability and the ability to respond quickly to changing situations. The position requires open availability to work any day and all shifts. Work ranges from 24 to 40 hours per week, with weekly hours varying. The advertised wage is $19 per hour. Requirements

Must be at least 21 years old.
Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Must have open availability and flexibility to work all shifts, including days, nights, weekends, holidays, overtime, and on-call assignments as operational needs require.
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Must be able to provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
Must pass an extensive screening process.
Must be able to think quickly and adapt to changing situations.
Must have responsive and strong problem-solving skills.
Must have a state license if required.

Nice To Haves

At least 3 years of experience in multiple security functions and environments, such as access control, patrol operations, CCTV monitoring, customer-facing security, warehouse security, or truck gate operations; the posting describes this experience as preferred.
College degree.
Security, military, or law enforcement experience.

Responsibilities

Manage employee, contractor, and visitor badging while ensuring compliance with access control policies and security procedures.
Operate and monitor access control, CCTV, alarm, and visitor management systems.
Monitor and control facility access points, including truck gates, loading docks, and restricted areas.
Verify credentials, shipments, deliveries, and visitor authorizations before granting access.
Conduct interior patrols of warehouse, distribution, and office areas to identify and address security concerns.
Respond quickly to incidents and potential threats.
Provide excellent customer service while maintaining security.
Write detailed reports on events and incidents.
Collaborate with authorities during serious situations.
Help ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.
