About The Position

Caregivers at Carmel Village assist residents with activities of daily living while treating them with dignity, respect, and compassion. They follow resident care plans as directed by community leadership and comply with Federal, State, and Local standards for community operation. Caregivers incorporate Generation’s Mission, Vision, and Values into their daily work and interactions.

This is a part-time Assisted Living position with rotating 8-hour shifts: either 5:30 am–2:00 pm or 1:30 pm–10:00 pm. Shifts vary between AM and PM and are scheduled on different days, not as a double shift. The schedule is two days on, followed by four days off, repeating. Weekend and holiday availability is required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass pre-employment physical and background checks.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate and patient.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience as a Caregiver is preferred but not required.
• Certification as a Nursing Assistant or Home Health Aide is a plus.
