About The Position

A caregiver is a member of the dedicated care team who works under the supervision of a registered nurse and performs personal care services as needed to meet patient needs. The role includes providing hygiene and daily-living assistance, recording vital signs and other measurements when necessary, supporting movement and activities, and helping maintain a safe environment for quality patient care. The position offers a flexible schedule and compensation of $15.75–$17 per hour, based on experience.

Requirements

• Certified CPR.
• Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray.
• Adhere to HIPAA and maintain client confidentiality.

Nice To Haves

• Minimum one year of documented experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide hygiene care as directed, including bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing and undressing, toileting, feeding, meal preparation, linen changes, and light housekeeping.
• Take and record vital signs and, if necessary, height and weight.
• Assist patients with active and passive range of motion as defined by the plan of care.
• Document observed changes and report changes to the Director of Nursing.
• Assist patients with walking and outdoor activities.
• Promote a safe environment for quality patient care by following established policies, procedures, and standards.
