About The Position

The Part-Time Packager assembles and prepares packaging materials, labels and records packed items, and inspects packaging for defects. The role ensures materials are packed securely to minimize breakage during transit and supports accurate inventory and warehouse operations. This is a contract-to-hire position paying $15.00 per hour, scheduled Friday and Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Ability to stand for extended periods (8–10 hours).
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a warehouse environment.
• Must adhere to all safety, attendance, and operational standards.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and prepare packaging materials such as boxes, crates, and containers.
• Inspect packaging for defects including tears, cracks, or dents.
• Ensure materials are securely packed to prevent damage during transit.
• Stack, palletize, and label materials accurately in accordance with work orders.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and review packing lists for completeness.
• Adhere to all warehouse safety regulations and standard operating procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or management.
