About The Position

A caregiver is a member of the dedicated care team who works under the supervision of a registered nurse and performs personal care services to meet patient needs. The position offers a flexible schedule and the opportunity to support patients in their homes while upholding BrightStar Care's standards of service. Compensation is based on experience and ranges from $15.75 to $17 per hour.

Requirements

• Certified CPR.
• Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray.
• Adhere to HIPAA and maintain client confidentiality.

Nice To Haves

• Minimum one year of documented experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide hygiene care as directed, including bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, undressing, toileting, and feeding.
• Prepare meals, change linens, and perform light housekeeping.
• Take and record vital signs, height, and weight when necessary.
• Assist patients with active and passive range-of-motion activities as defined by the plan of care.
• Document observed changes and report changes to the Director of Nursing.
• Assist patients with walking and outdoor activities.
• Promote a safe environment for quality patient care by following established policies, procedures, and standards.
