About The Position
The Caregiver supports residents in an assisted living and memory care community by helping with personal care and hygiene and communicating with residents, families, healthcare staff, and other personnel. Caregivers contribute to a care-centered culture through compassion, patience, kindness, cheerfulness, and enthusiasm. The position is full-time at La Conner Retirement Inn in La Conner, Washington, with an hourly pay range of $18.50–$19.50 and any-shift scheduling.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Compassionate, patient, and kind, with an interest in working with senior adults.
- Positive attitude and desire to learn and grow.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with cleaning, bathing, dressing, eating, personal care, and hygiene.
- Communicate with healthcare staff and department personnel about residents’ conditions and maintain written records and documentation as required.
- Maintain communication with residents, their families, and support personnel to help ensure residents’ needs are continually met.
