About The Position

Griswold Care for the Greater Twin Cities is hiring a part-time Caregiver/PCA/DSP to provide companionship and non-medical caregiving to seniors in the Ham Lake area. The role offers flexible hours, with opportunities to work day or night shifts. Client care needs range from a minimum of four hours to 24-hour care, and hours may change based on client needs, care plan adjustments, and staffing requirements. Caregivers help seniors live as fully and independently as possible in their own homes. Duties include assisting with laundry, grocery shopping, meal preparation, personal hygiene, bathing, and feeding. Caregivers may also provide companionship to clients with dementia or cognitive impairments. The role requires completing shift documentation promptly and communicating with the office about clients’ conditions and needs. Training is available.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old.
Have reliable transportation.
Hold a current valid driver’s license.
Have current valid auto insurance.
Be willing to travel up to 25 miles.
Provide compassionate, patient, punctual, and dependable care.
A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Two or more years of home care experience is a plus; caring for a loved one counts.
