About The Position

Griswold Care in Fridley is hiring a part-time CNA/In-Home Caregiver to provide non-medical elderly care and companionship in clients’ homes. Caregivers help clients with daily living and household tasks while preserving their dignity and independence. Duties may include laundry, meal preparation, grocery shopping, bathing, personal hygiene, and companionship. Some clients may have dementia or cognitive impairments. Caregivers submit accurate documentation after each shift and notify the office of changes in clients’ care. The position offers flexible scheduling, with day and night shifts available; client care periods can range from four hours to 24-hour care. Hours may change based on client needs, care plan adjustments, and staffing requirements.

Requirements

Reliable transportation.
A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
The ability to provide compassionate care and companionship and maintain a positive attitude while assisting with household tasks.

Nice To Haves

Two or more years of home care experience; caring for a loved one counts.
Willingness to learn; training is provided.
