About The Position

Griswold Care in Minnetonka is hiring a part-time CNA/In-Home Caregiver to provide non-medical elderly care and companionship in clients’ homes. Caregivers help clients with daily living tasks while preserving their dignity, independence, and personal hygiene. The role includes household assistance, companionship, and, on occasion, care for clients with dementia or cognitive impairments. Caregivers document each shift accurately and keep the office informed about changes to clients’ care. Training is provided.

Requirements

• Reliable transportation.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• The employer is willing to train applicants.

Nice To Haves

• Two or more years of home care experience; caring for a loved one counts.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living tasks in their homes.
• Provide cheerful companionship to senior clients.
• Perform household tasks such as laundry, meal preparation, and grocery shopping.
• Help clients bathe and maintain personal hygiene in a professional and respectful manner.
• Provide caregiving services for clients with dementia or cognitive impairments when needed.
• Submit accurate documentation at the end of each shift and report changes in clients’ care to the office.
